Advanced Academy Classes
Salon Boutique Academy advanced courses range from half-day to several-day classes. Available in English and Spanish, some classes require participants to be licensed cosmetologists or estheticians. Class sizes are controlled to ensure proper student-to-teacher ratio and attention.
SKINCARE MODALITIES | 8-Day Class
Class covers: skin diseases and disorders, facial treatments, hydrofacials, chemical exfoliations, ultrasound, high frequency, microcurrent and microdermabrasion. This class is great for cosmetologists and estheticians who want to add machines into their skincare practice. Machines to be studied include LED Light Therapy, Ultrasonic, Microcurrent and Hydrodermabrasion machines.
EYELASH EXTENSIONS | 1-Day Class
Eyelash extension application and technique for cosmetologists and estheticians.
ADV. VOLUME EYELASH EXTENSIONS | 1-Day Class
For licensed professionals already skilled in basic eyelash techniques. This class will teach volume lash techniques.
BRAZILIAN WAXING | Half-Day Class
For cosmetologists and estheticians wanting to provide Brazilian waxing to male and female clients.
MEN'S HAIRCUTTING | 3-Day Cutting Class
For cosmetologists seeking to gain a concrete approach to men's haircutting.
HAIRCUTTING FUNDAMENTALS | 4-Day Cutting Class

TDLR EXAMINATION REFRESHERS
Estheticians and cosmetologists who have finished their training at an institution but need assistance studying and passing the state board written and/or practical examination will find that this course provides strong preparation for Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation exams. Course length and material is customized based on the student's specific needs.
